The team

Connor and Ryan.

Two brothers, two classes each, and a family that runs the whole thing. Based in Boerne, Texas.

01 / The cars

Four race cars, because each class needs its own.

A quarter midget is built for one class and stays in it. Connor has a Senior Honda car and a Light 160 car; Ryan has a Junior Honda car and a Junior 160 car. That's four cars in the trailer and four results every race weekend.

Connor

Senior Honda

The premier class on the national stage — and the one Connor finished 9th in nationally this season.

Connor

Light 160

160cc, open wheels, against older and more seasoned drivers. Second in the 2025 championship.

Ryan

Junior Honda

10th nationally this season, and the class where he stepped up from rookie and still made the podium.

Ryan

Junior 160

The step-up class — more power, more discipline, the same chassis he already knows.

Car numbers change from race to race in quarter midget racing, so none are attributed to a driver here. Any number you see in a photograph belongs to that weekend only.

02 / The crew

Who does what.

Nobody in this team has a title. Everybody in this team has a job.

Crew chief

Sean Guthrie

Connor and Ryan's father, and the primary wrench. Sets the car up, turns the wrenches, and ran Firestone Indy Lights himself between 2006 and 2010.

Transport

Lyle “Bampa” Greenberg

Primary truck driver — the one who gets four cars and a trailer across the country, weekend after weekend. Half the G² side is his. He also runs the family's AMSOIL dealership, All American Lubricants, which his father Paul founded.

Media & logistics

Jennifer Guthrie

The media sensation, and the one who makes sure everyone is fed and where they need to be. Raced quarter midgets to midgets herself before the boys were born.

The G² Racing workshop with cars on stands and tools along the wall

Every hour in the garage counts.

Load. Unload. Clean. Inspect. Maintain. Adjust. Repeat. A racing season is far more than the laps turned on a Saturday.

The shop is where it actually happens — and it's also where other families get help. See The Shop.
